I had little to no guidance when I did decide to start my business, and I learned oh so many things the hard way (and now you don't have to).

I’ve immersed myself in the world of dentistry for nearly two decades now, and it’s been quite the adventure. Not in my wildest dream could I have envisioned where life would take me.
My journey began during dental hygiene school when I started working at the front office and dental assisting at a truly one-of-a-kind dental practice that shaped my future. However, it was as their Practice Administrator that I discovered my true passion.
Being a Practice Administrator allowed me to explore almost every aspect of the dental office, but I was always drawn to the insurance and financial piece of the puzzle.
Because I'm a true {elder} millennial, 15 years ago I started a bit of a side hustle; helping local practices clean up their outstanding insurance claims. It took some years but I eventually turned that into a fully remote dental billing company helping practices all across the country. Essential Dental Services has clients and team members all across the country and is one of my greatest accomplishments.
Where I Started
So what led me to coach and what makes me the expert?
Over the years I've had some wonderful mentors and coaches myself, and now it's time for me to give back. My goal with starting a billing company was to help dental practices clean up their accounts and then thrive. Now that's my goal and purpose with 1:1 business coaching.
I held the Vice President role of the Dental Manager Collective of Boston, completed the ADA’s dental coding certificate program, maintain a Fellowship designation with the American Association of Dental Office Management, chair Dental Assisting Program advisory boards, publish articles and educational material, and of course, you'll even find me speaking at some dental conferences!
Am I the absolute expert of everything? Of course not! But I will tell you that starting from scratch and then growing a 7 figure business lended me some invaluable knowledge and insight, among many other things! There have been many highs, lows, wins, losses, lessons, and questions. And now I'm so happy to get to share all of that expertise with my coaching clients.
